The Zildjian Z Power Smash (originally from the Z series, 1986-1993) is a specialised, heavy-weight, 20-inch oriental-style China cymbal designed for extreme volume and cut. Known for their pang-style shape with a horizontal flange and star-pattern hammering, these cymbals are highly sought after by rock and metal drummers for a "thunderous roar.
