After first appearing in 1983, it's generally accepted that the Les Paul Studios built during the nineties were the best ever, and that those from the Centenary year were the best of the best. This fantastic LP Studio was produced in 1994, with a special '94' serial number prefix to indicate Gibson's 100th year.

Premium-grade

Solid, one-piece Mahogany body, carved Maple top, solid Mahogany neck, premium-grade Ebony fingerboard, and finished in deep Wine Red, against the all-gold hardware.

With the famous 490R neck, and 498T bridge humbuckers, the cutting power of this guitar is second to none. It turns down nicely, too, but when you're ready to cut loose, all the Les Paul grunt and searing top end you could ever want is there, just waiting to be dialed in.

With the Ebony fingerboard as the top-end Les Paul Custom, even guitar experts battle to tell the sonic difference between a Studio and a Custom. The luxury of the Ebony fingerboard only lasted another twelve months, with Gibson switching to Rosewood during a round of cost cutting

- another reason why these models rarely pop up on the vintage market: people that own them hang onto them!

Made before the company began putting all the good timbers aside for Custom Shop models, this is the rare full thickness, full weight body, so the sustain is guaranteed. '59 neck profile, low-jumbo frets, (low, but not quite as low as the famous LP

gold Gibson/Kluson Deluxe tuners, and all in quite

amazing, minimal playtime condition. Note that the all gold hardware was only available as an optional $250 upgrade.

Guitar will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box with padding and in its padded Gig bag.
