Thorpy FX “The Dane” (Peter Honoré Signature) – Used

We have received a used “The Dane”, the signature overdrive/boost pedal by Peter Honoré, also known as “Danish Pete”, from the UK boutique pedal brand Thorpy FX. Peter Honoré is well known for his work with Andertons TV and other popular YouTube guitar channels.

This pedal was designed specifically to support Pete’s playing style, allowing smooth control from clean to overdriven tones using the guitar’s volume knob. It is a 2-in-1 drive and boost pedal, offering excellent touch sensitivity and dynamic response.

Drive Section (Left Side)

A low- to mid-gain overdrive rich in complex, musical harmonics.
It delivers everything from bell-like clean tones when rolling back the guitar volume, to thick, expressive drive sounds. The responsiveness to both picking dynamics and volume control is outstanding.

Boost Section (Right Side)

A very high-headroom, transparent clean boost (DP Boost).
It works well on its own, or as a gain boost placed before the drive section to create a fatter, more sustaining lead tone.
