The Fender '57 Custom Champ is one of the purest and most iconic low wattage amplifiers ever made, and this example delivers everything players love about the original 5F1 tweed circuit. Simple, touch responsive and remarkably musical, the Champ has been a studio and practice favourite since the fifties, prized for its ability to move from sweet cleans to rich harmonically complex breakup with nothing more than the turn of a volume knob. Countless classic recordings were made through Champs, and the reissue models stay true to that heritage.

This amplifier features an aftermarket aged tweed cabinet finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, giving it an authentic vintage appearance that closely mirrors the look of an original late fifties example. The cabinet and covering present beautifully and complement the classic aesthetics of the '57 tweed range. Internally, the 5F1 circuit offers that familiar single ended 6V6 voice with its warm midrange bloom, smooth compression and singing upper harmonics that make these amps such inspiring recording companions.
