The 1959 Fender Vibrolux Tweed (model 5F11) is a highly coveted vintage tube combo amplifier from Fender’s narrow-panel era, prized for being the first model to feature built-in tremolo.
Technical Specifications : the 5F11 circuit is closely related to the Fender Harvard but with an added tremolo stage.
- Output Power: approximately 10 watts.
- Tube Complement: 1x 5Y3 (rectifier), 2x 6V6 (power tubes), and 2x 12AX7 (preamp).
- Speaker: 1x 10-inch Jensen P10R Alnico.
- Controls: Volume, Tone, Speed, and Depth (for tremolo).
One of the holy grail gigging amps. It is in great condition with only necessary repairs and upgrades: grounded power cord, cap replacement, handle replacement. The tweed tolex has scuffs and marks and dings and scratches but this amp is all original (that we can tell) and embodies the “tweed” sound.
