A 1U rack-mounting unit, suitable for permanent installations, that feeds MIDI data simultaneously to twelve other devices, avoiding signal delays and distortion that may result if MIDI is fed by “daisy-chaining” from equipment THRU outputs. It has front-panel LED indications for mains and MIDI-data present, and an IEC mains inlet, 13 x 5-pin DIN connectors and an additional MIDI-present indicator on the rear panel.
