Sonor 20/12/13/16/5x14" 60's “New York” Drum Set Slate Pearl

Here is a very clean, vintage late 60's Sonor K101 "New York" outfit! These are sized 14x20", 8x12", 9x13", and 16x16" with a matching D471 5x14" snare drum - finished in "Slate Pearl" that has hardly a mark on it! Their beech shells are in great shape with clean bearing edges; plenty of resonance to their shells. The chrome on this set is incredible and looks like it just rolled off the line! All-around fantastic condition with no notable markings to report; just a couple very minor hardware details:

- The snare drum's strainer/throw functions nicely, but the outer circular face can sometimes pop out from the casing. It has a set screw inside that helps it stay in place, and its side walls can be manipulated allowing it to snap it back into position.

- The 8x12" tom mount's wingscrew was missing and has been replaced with a slightly later Sonor screw. All internal tone controls are all present and functional.

The heads on this set are predominately used coated Evans with a fair amount of cosmetic wear, but they're singing so nicely that I didn't want to change them. We gave it a fresh smooth white logo head on the bass drum's resonant side.

Note that these tension rods are vintage slotted Sonor. We will include a modern slotted Sonor multi-key with this set.
