1979 Ibanez PF400. The PF400 is a Performer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1978/1979 It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The PF400 features a carved maple top with 7-layer black & white binding on a single-cutaway mahogany body mated to a set-in laminated rock maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with pearloid block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 70 humbucking pickups with gold covers mounted in black pickup rings with individual volume and tone controls with a Tri-sound switch for the neck pickup, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar fixed bridge with Quik Change tailpiece, a tortoise pickguard, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and Sure Grip knobs in gold. The output is mounted on the side of the guitar. One knob was replaced before I received it. This one looks and plays great. One ding on the body as you can see but does not effect anything. Comes with a gig bag. There is very few of these anywhere and was the Les Paul killer back in the day. Thanks for looking!
