This drum is for local pickup only at our shop in Milwaukee, WI.
This is a 1951 Slingerland Artist Model Bass drum (14'x24") in Gray Oyster Pearl with calfskin heads. This bass drum is very well preserved for its near 75 year old age. As was the standard in that era, this drum was outfitted with genuine calfskin heads, which, given their fragility, it's amazing that one of these two heads is still intact and the other just has a few small rips. Both heads feature the iconic 'Radio King' stamps on the heads. This model features 10 single 'cigar' lugs in the center of the drum's shell. With Slingerland now remaking Slingerland as of 2025, this is a great chance to revisit this timeless, iconic drum.
- 2x 24" Calfskin drum heads
- Nickel-plated 'Cigar' single lugs
- Mahogany shells
- Gray Oyster Pearl wrap
