The official Fender Custom Shop '50/'51 Blackguard Telecaster Single Coil Pickup Set gives you access to an exact recreation of the pickups used in genuine vintage guitars.

This Custom Shop set gives you the punchy lows, fat mids and crisp, twangy highs of the iconic originals. The large diameter, unbeveled flushmount Alnico III magnets in the bridge pickup and Alnico V in the neck give the lively full bodied authentic Blackguard Tele performance and sound. The neck pickup has a chrome plated cover to complete the classic look.

Meticulously designed and built in the USA to sound and look just like the earliest versions of their Blackguard Teles, both pickups include the ‘Fender Custom Shop’ sticker of approval. The 43 gauge enamel coated magnet wire delivers warm vintage tones and the pickups feature all the vintage correct construction details like cloth wire fibre bobbins and a metal shielding baseplate for the bridge pickup. Shellac potted like the original to help reduce unwanted microphonic feedback.
