Everyone should have a great sounding and playing nylon string guitar in their quiver as it can add the roundness and softness perfect for leads or melodic accompaniment. As usual, Martin leads the pack in vintage having produced these models from 1936 to 1962. This 1949 model has been well cared for and exhibits no cracks or alteration (except possibly the tuning machines). The is moderate playwear on the top that adds to the vintage look and feel. The Brazilian rosewood is a beautifully straight grained specimen indicative of the era and the playability and sound are unmatched. Loud ringing tones and balanced frequency. Setup superbly and comes w/OHSC.
