Malletshop Gigster Portable Vibraphone

An amazing instrument, super portable, ready to play in 5 minutes, great tones!

This one comes with the fantastic K and K pickup system. I've recorded many albums with this vibraphone and have gigged it A LOT. There are numerous scratches/scrapes/dings/dents/bumps/etc., but nothing affects the playability, all cosmetic.

I've done one modification shown in the pictures- added two little metal tabs to help keep the soundboard from flopping over whilst putting the legs on. There's an official Malletshop fix for this issue but the tabs have worked out great and are super easy to take on and off if you need to get under the soundboard.

The one issue that sometimes crops up is there can be a very very slight scraping sound whilst using the vibrato. I haven't troubleshooted it since it's extremely minor and doesn't happen all the time, for me anyway.

Not shown but also included- power cord, K and K mini mixer for the pickup system, power adapter for the mixer, Gigster metal logo (it fell off during a gig once and I haven't put it back on, the nuts holding it on just loosened), and manual for the vibraphone. I'll also offer some tips for how to put it together.

Brand new the vibraphone, pickup system, and cover would cost $6300.

I will consider shipping it out but it will be extreeeemmmmmeelllyyyyy expensive. I would guess around $1000 as I would need to have it professionally packaged and insured. Local pickup preferred, I can meet within an hour or so radius of Jaffrey, NH.

I'm selling it because I've decided to go back to graduated bars. I really, really love this instrument and am sad to part with it as it's been so perfect in many ways.
