For sale: an exceptionally clean and well-preserved 1974 Rickenbacker 360/12, in excellent vintage condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a professional setup and it plays beautifully — straight neck, optimally adjusted truss rods, low action, and spot-on intonation. The original pair of Hi-Gain pickups sound absolutely stellar with tons of clarity, bite and that unmistakable Rickenbacker jangle.

Cosmetically, this guitar is insanely clean and has clearly been well cared for over the years — that’s truly an understatement, as it looks like it’s barely been played. That said, there are a couple minuscule dings along with some light swirling and surface scratches in the clear coat from normal handling and cleaning, and we don‘t even see much of that. There’s also a few spots on the fingerboard (frets 1-3 and 6) that have some minor lacquer chipping. The original vintage-style frets look fantastic, only showing the slightest hint of wear on frets 1-3 mostly under the plain strings.

Please see the photos for condition details (and excuse any reflections). It’s hard to overstate how clean this 50 plus year-old Ric is. And be sure to check out the wood grain and figuring — it’s a stunningly beautiful guitar. Not only is it remarkably clean and gorgeous, it’s complete with the original hard case (also as clean as the guitar), case keys, polishing cloth, manual and Rick-O-Sound splitter box. A true collector‘s dream and hand down the cleanest vintage Ric 360 we’ve ever seen!

To the best of our knowledge, this axe is 100% original. The serial number dates it to 1974, and the original CTS pots date to the 41st week of 1973.
