CompTortion – A Compression/Distortion pedal

The CompTortion logically, and uniquely, combines two effects: compression and distortion. No other single pedal ever offered this kind of control over such a range of sounds –from totally clean to light distortion to smooth overdrive to blistering overdrive, and from zero compression to completely squashed. The specially designed compressor lets you dial in as much sustain as you could possibly need --the note won't die unless you want it to.

Musically voiced to complement each other, these effects are independently adjustable so you can control the ratio that best suits your particular taste. Characteristic of all Tech 21 products, the CompTortion is multifunctional, exceptionally versatile, and will not depersonalize your guitar tone.

You can use either the compression or distortion separately, or you can, of course, mix the two together. The CompTortion can also be used for just a clean boost.
