Ludwig 11x12 Marching Tom. Single-headed. White cortex. Blue/Olive Badge.
That's 11" Deep. 12" head (old school). White interior.
This is around 1975 with the aluminum trim around the open bearing edge.
8 (not 6) famous mini-lugs, found on all toms under 13". Designed for higher tension. That also means it will maintain pitch better at lower tension! (So, would I convert this to a kick-ass dbl-headed 8x12? Hell-yea. And I could probably dig up another 8 minis, but back to the item). The badge is beat up (hence the "good" rating), and there are some scratches, but it is fairly clean, tunes up nicely, and you can hit it as hard as you want. There's an Emperor/clear on batter. That's not a marching head. The guy I got it from had it on a snare stand as a rock concert tom. So until you put a mounting system on it, that's how I would use it -- unless of course, you need a marching tom!.
