DSI Poly Evolver 4 voice keyboard. In very good condition. Original owner.

This unit was bought it direct from Dave Smith (the great man himself) in 2007 when my band Cut Copy, was playing in the Bay Area. And has been a valuable part of my studio ever since. It’s a pretty unique piece of gear which has brought me a lot of joy and has great sentimental value.

If you’re not familiar, it’s a hybrid machine with 2 analog and 2 digital oscillators per voice, an inbuilt 16 step sequencer, some amazing internal routing possibilities, discrete voice outputs, LFO indicator led’s on the back etc. It’s in great working order and very good cosmetic condition. I replaced the boards in the front panel recently with completely new ones. So all the encoders are factory fresh (no stickiness issues) classic edition knobs (not potentiometer), which I personally prefer.

It's truly a unique synth with an unusual set of features. Some even consider it the "most interesting synth of the past 30 years" (see youtube link).

Comes with manual, custom made flight case and generic (aus) power block. I've loved using it but I have other synths I want to explore now, so it's time for someone else to enjoy it!
