Based on the Combustion model, the alder body, maple neck and fretboard NG3 takes things in an exciting new direction with the addition of the custom Darkglass Tone Capsule pre-amp, 'sweet-spot' pickup placement, carbon fiber print pickguard and racing inspired finishes.

Many state that their Dingwall necks are as stable as their graphite necked instruments. We’ve experimented with many different laminations and have found a 5-piece maple construction to be among the best. Years of experience have proven this design to be extremely stable and reliable while minimizing dead spots. The 37" to 34" multi-scale design provides excellent tension dispersion and ergonomics.

The NG-3 features a Master Volume, 5 position Rotary pickup selector, 3-band Darkglass pre-amp with an Active/Passive toggle switch. The 4 pickup positions are: 1. Bridge soloed, 2. Bridge/Middle in series, 3. Bridge/Neck in parallel, 4. Neck soloed.
