Shakulute headjoint for concert flute my master Shakuhachi maker Monty Levenson of Tai Hei Shakuhachi. This one features Torachiku (Tiger Bamboo) with Kinko-style utaguchi inlay and standard binding. The tenon is made of solid silver rather than brass, copper, or plated material. It has been fitted for my Gemeinhardt flute, but it can be fitted for your flute by your tech.
Some of the black paint in the inner tenon has chipped off (pictured) but this does not affect the sound or the playability of the headjoint.
Comes with a mouthpiece cap and original fabric bag. The thumb rest attachment is missing but it can be played without one. It can also be purchased from shakuhachi.com if desired.
