Guild guitars have a loyal and rabid following and tend to move fast, so don't snooze on this excellent model. First produced in 1968, the D-55 TV Model features spruce top and rosewood back & sides, binding down the neck and on the top & back, and MOP and abalone fret markers on the ebony fingerboard. This is a one-owner 1971 model that has been well played and has heavy play wear throughout including several dings, the tuners were replaced with Grovers at some point, there was a clear pickguard added that extends from side to side, and there was a bridge doctor truss system added. However, there are no cracks or other modifications. This guitar is a cannon and it plays wonderfully and there is good string break after the saddle which has room to be lowered a bit as desired.
