Hondo II HRB2S bass guitar neck. Circa late 1970s / early 1980s.
From a sunburst 'Hooky Bass' as used in the early days of Joy Division.
This neck is in reasonable condition for age with the usual scuffs and marks, the truss rod is working but the truss rod cover is a replacement with additional screw holes where a past owner fitted a bar string retainer / tree.
As you can see from the pics it has some wear ,including playing wear , small marks and indents to the back of the neck and wear to the fretboard and fretboard edges.
I sold a totally knackered one of these necks a while back for £100 and as a whole these basses are anywhere from £500-£1000 depending on condition.
Whilst not perfect this is a useable neck but may require some set up work / adjustments as part of your build.
58.8mm approx heel width.
