From the beautifully arched top and back of its laminated Maple body, to the rich finish, to the authentic retro-style appointments and hardware, this beauty looks nearly identical to the guitars that inspired it, but it plays even better! While many of the old “department-store” guitars packed on knobs and switches with more regard for how “space-age” it made the instrument look than for how useful the controls actually were, that’s not the case with the H77. Every knob and switch has its place: It’s got SEVEN pickup combinations, plus a push/pull on each tone control for full hb / split mode, all of which yield unique tones useful for dialing in everything from chicken pickin’ Twang to old-school Boogie, Alt Country and Rock, or even infusing R&B-style lines with an authentic greasiness.
