Originally a 2006 Squier Standard Stratocaster, this guitar is now equipped with a pickguard and electronics from a 2002 MIM Fender Player Stratocaster. It has US made Fender saddles, and real Fender brand tuners. This guitar has had the frets levelled and the action set low. It also has been given a monkey grip!
The case and guitar were painted to match, with a racing stripe design. The case is made out of plywood, memory foam, and upholstery foam.
In the following video, I give this guitar a full setup including adjusting the pole pieces, giving the frets a level, crown and polish, adjusting the truss rod, checking the nut slots, and adjusting the intonation:
