• Working great - Tested against the other one I own, both working the same
  • XLR connector added
  • Comes with compatible mic clip

For sale is an interesting microphone made by Perma Power Electronics in Japan! This microphone instantly made me think of Electro-Voice microphones and some Shure models with a similar style grille, so I have no doubt they were inspired by American companies of the time.

The sound signature is quite nice and balanced, to break it down simply. Unlike the Shure SM57, it has a bit less in terms of bass response, but that translates into working great on voice even when used up close. It never sounds muffled with the proximity effect being elevated which is great, making bad placement less of a worry. Lastly, this microphone has had the connector swapped with an XLR connector so it works great with modern interfaces.

If you've want to try a nice mic that is fairly uncommon, look no further!
