Following the immense success of the Little Mark Vintage head, which marked a new era at Markbass, we have designed the MARK VINTAGE PRE, a new tube preamp pedal featuring REAL TRUE BYPASS technology, ready to become an indispensable tool for professional bassists. The MARK VINTAGE PRE offers a very wide range of sounds, from modern to vintage, and many other features to meet all needs.

4-band EQ, 3-position switch with preset EQ settings, DRIVE control with two types of distortion that can be mixed with the clean signal thanks to the BLEND control, +6 dB BOOST, AUX-IN and headphone outputs, effects send/return, DI-LINE output with dedicated transformer. Based on an idea from our featured artist Marcus Miller, we added RCA (transformer-equipped) and TOSLINK digital outputs with 44.1/48/96 kHz sample rate selector to this pedal, making it the ideal studio tool for recording bassists.

The MARK VINTAGE PRE is equipped with a 12AX7 (ECC83) preamp tube, delivering a rich, warm sound rich in harmonics.

Don't let its name and refined vintage look fool you: this preamp offers a wide range of tonal possibilities, from modern to vintage sounds.

> 4-Band EQ / 3-Position Switch

Like the Little Mark Vintage head, the MARK VINTAGE PRE's 4-band EQ features a new center frequency control, optimized for a balanced sound that blends easily into the mix. A 3-position switch also offers three convenient EQ presets for quickly achieving a FLAT setting, a CUT setting with scooped mids and boosted bass and treble, and an OLD setting with scooped treble for a classic vintage sound.

> Two Distortion Types / Blend Control

The MARK VINTAGE PRE offers two distortion types (selectable via a footswitch). The distortion level, ranging from crunchy overdrive to aggressive overdrive, is controlled by the DRIVE knob. The BLEND control blends the DRIVE signal with the CLEAN signal from the tube preamp. Adding a little distortion during a studio recording results in a beautiful bass sound that blends seamlessly into the mix; This is a trick often used by studio professionals.

> Boost

The BOOST switch allows you to increase the signal level by up to +6 dB, instantly providing more headroom when you need it, for example, to stand out during a solo.

> True DI Box

The BALANCED DI OUT is a true transformer-driven DI box. It is optimized to deliver a pure, full, and rich sound across all frequencies, handling extreme transients without introducing distortion or coloration.

> Digital Outputs

Developed from an idea by our featured artist, MARCUS MILLER, who was looking for a small professional unit for studio recordings, we integrated RCA (transformer-driven) and TOSLINK digital outputs with a 44.1/48/96 kHz sample rate selector, making it the ideal studio tool for recording bassists. > Auxiliary Input / Headphone Output / Effects Loop

The MARK VINTAGE PRE includes a headphone output and an auxiliary input for connecting an iPod or MP3 player and mixing it with your bass. So you can play and practice discreetly wherever and whenever you want. Plus, a send/return effects loop lets you interface with your favorite effects pedals and multi-effects devices.

> True Bypass

This pedal features a true bypass circuit: when the MARK VINTAGE PRE is disabled, the audio signal quality is preserved.
