Up for sale is my Neumann U 87 Rhodium Edition, a rare and stunning collector’s piece released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic U 87 microphone. This is serial number 176 out of a strictly limited run of only 500 units worldwide, making it a highly collectible and exclusive item.

• The microphone remains in excellent condition both visually and functionally. It has only been used rarely in a smoke-free studio and has been kept in its case ever since.
• There is a small cosmetic imperfection on the body (please see the second last photo), but it is purely superficial and does not affect performance in any way. The rhodium-plated finish still retains its mirror-like shine and overall looks stunning.
• The case shows some minor cosmetic imperfections (please see the last photo), including surface scratches and wear to the printed lettering, but is still structurally solid and protective.
