Thermo Aging, a special drying process, makes the neck light and hard and provides excellent stability and enhanced resonance. Rosewood Fretboard and Mahogany Top Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range. Solid African Mahogany top offers a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone. The African Mahogany back and sides offer full-bodied warm mid range. Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle Pickup and Custom Electronics The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into. The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players. Rosewood Scalloped Bridge The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings. Functional Tapered Headstock The newly designed headstock shape is the result of thorough research and investigation. Its tapered shape provides lighter weight, as well as a straight string alignment which enhances tuning stability and reduces any neck twisting effect.
