The official Fender Roasted Maple Vintera '50s Precision Bass Maple Vintage C Neck 7.25" Radius has a satin urethane finish on the back of the neck with a gloss urethane finish on the fingerboard and headstock face, giving you the ultimate balance between comfort and timeless style.

Roasted maple features a gorgeous, dark look and this specially processed wood is resistant to humidity shifts, has more sustain and adds a unique note to the instrument's voice. It also feels great in your hands as you play. This vintage C profile four bolt neck also has a period correct 7.25” radius with 20 vintage frets, comes fitted with a synthetic bone nut and is pre-slotted with 'pilot' string slots to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing. The headstock has modern 10 mm tuner bushing holes drilled for Fender style bass tuners and the vintage style slotted truss rod is adjusted at the heel end. The fingerboard and side dots help you see positions clearly as you play and give a nice contrast to the roasted maple. To remind you of its authenticity, it's serialized and stamped and includes their iconic spaghetti logo headstock decal. This replacement neck fits Fender or Squier curved heel end Precision Bass guitars. Some fret levelling/dressing and polishing may be required with minor woodwork to fit the neck to the body.
