This high quality Japanese turntable has been lubricated, fitted with a new belt and a upgraded Ortofon OM Cartridge. This unit is in very good used vintage condition with some signs of use on the body as well as the lid - please refer to photos.
From JVC: Our reliable belt-drive system eliminates vibration and noise, promoting smooth platter rotation. And our motor is an advanced synchronous type—insensitive to fluctuations in mains voltage. Our tonearm has a low mass for high tracking accuracy and low distortion; and at the same time, its straight-tube design reduces unwanted tonearm movement due to dynamic torsion. We've also included a tonearm lift and an automatic return mechanism. Like all controls, the lift operation is located outside the enclosed dust cover, so there's little risk of bumping the tonearm and damaging the record or needle.
