Originally introduced in the 1970s, this rackmount processor combines ADR’s iconic FET-based Compex Limiter with a versatile four-band parametric EQ and an expander/gate section. Known for its punchy response and tonal flexibility, the F769X-R has earned its place in countless recording studios for its ability to shape vocals, drums, bass, and more with authority and nuance.

Each channel features a compressor/limiter with fast FET-style response, a responsive gate/expander section, and a fully parametric EQ with selectable peak/dip modes and a pre/post routing option. This design allows for in-depth shaping and precise control, with the ability to use the EQ as a sidechain insert for frequency-sensitive compression—ideal for de-essing or tight low-end management. VU-style gain reduction meters, stereo link capability, and clearly labeled controls make it easy to dial in exact settings, whether tracking or mixing.

This unit has been fully serviced with all pots, switches, and jacks cleaned for smooth operation and reliability across all functions. Cosmetically, it presents well with light rack rash and wear, but all front panel markings are intact and legible.
