Thunderbass is go!
Here is a very rare Guild Thunderbass head. This is the bigger, meaner brother to the Thunderstar. It's an all tubed 6l6 monster from 1971. It is a bass head but easily makes a guitar roar like Blue Cheer or Dead Meadow. It's a no nonsense pure tubed 60 watt with two channels (bass and normal - which we find hilarious), volume, bass, treble and a master to really get cooking. This one is tested and working great. It has a grounded 3-pronged plug. No doubt, this thing has seen some action in it's 40+ year career (and was recently recorded with) and the housing has mojo scars but it plays just fine. The pots are clean and it's responsive and powerful with endless headroom at high volume. It is all original except for some tube replacment over the years. Although tested and working, all vintage amps should be seen to by a qualified tech before regular use after shipping. This is not a mass produced Fender Hot Rod so know what you are buying and appreciate that vintage amps need love.
