Great Rockman tones from a better made device. This is basically the Nobels Rock Box that was used along with a Rockman to track guitars on Def Leppard. The Rock Box is basically a reverse engineered Rockman but it has a metal enclosure and 1/4” output jacks instead of the 1:8th like the Rockman. Has two clean tones and edge tone and overdrive. It also has a tuning reference for A-440. When I A/B’d it to a vintage Soloist, the Rockbox sounded pretty much the same but had a wider range overall. The compression and chorus are top notch. The echo can be tweaked. The main reason why this was used on Hysteria was that they could bypass the effects.
