Actual Photos Shown: Vintage Reel to Reel Style Computer Cassette tapes. I have many of these cassettes available, they are very old and look cool. Still sealed in the package, probably more than 40 years old! Neat collector item, I have many available, and tested a few in My Nakamichi. Pretty good results, I was actually surprised with the quality of the recording. But I have a premium deck, keep in mind. These were made back in the 80's for the purpose of recording computer software on the tape, before floppys or hard drives were affordable. As far as I can tell they seem to be a pretty Thick film. They do have a little bit of leader tape, but none of it touches the head since these tapes were originally made for data, and originally intended for instant recording once inserted. The tapes could be used for Data, for an ancient computer, music, or to just look at. Fun to watch the reels spin as it plays, upon testing one of the tapes, I was able to Fit Six minutes of audio at 1 7/8 ips (standard speed) on each side, although since these are being sold as 10 minute tapes, I cant be cetain that they will all fit 12 minutes each. Look how full the Reel appears to be, for only 5 or 6 minutes on each side, that looks like some thick stock. Great for a Gift, or a collector, or showing off a piece of cassette gear.
