Hartke Kilo 1000 Bi-Amp Bass Head! The Kilo bass head from Hartke is one of those "last buy" products. With enough power for any gig, plenty of intuitive tone sculpting options and Hartke's impeccable construction, we doubt you're going to need another bass head for a long time. The sound this head puts out is focused, rich and dynamic. It's very easy to dial in the sound for what the playing situation calls for, which is why everyone from metal heads to smooth jazz aficionados uses Hartke's products. You've certainly noticed the price of this head - no, you're not seeing things. You're paying a dollar per watt. How many heads can claim as much?

This Hartke Kilo puts out 1000 watts at 4 ohms in bridged mono mode or 500 watts per side at 2 ohms in stereo mode. Good luck finding a venue that's too big for that. The all-tube class A preamp features three 12AX7 tubes, so you can expect that unmistakable tubey warmth and depth. The three band EQ, shape circuit, deep/brite curves, active/passive switch and 10-band graphic EQ provide enough tonal options to dial this amp in for just about any playing situation. The variable tube overdrive circuit will let you add a little dirt when you need it, and the compressor circuit will smooth things out nicely. There are Speakon outs and 1/4" outs, so this head will work with plenty of cabs. This is a powerful, versatile bass amp head that's ready to become an integral part of your sound.

It also provides an abundance of connections and signal routing features, including multi-point direct output switching, stereo Effects Loop, front and rear panel tuner outputs and footswitch jacks to remotely control the Mute, Overdrive, EFX, and EQ functions.
