Up for sale is my Square Deal Guitar Company model no. "JN" with a solid high grade Red Spruce [Adirondack] Sunburst top over an highly figured "Beeswing" Mahogany sweetly shaded back and sides. This is one sweet playing , sounding and looking 14-fret slope shoulder dreadnought. An eye popping beautiful woods aesthetic❗

Hand crafted in New Jersey, USA, by Jack Needham, Luthier ; Serial No. 151

Seems like this is his custom signature model build hence "JN" and every piece is hand crafted including All the beautiful faux Tortoise shell binding, rosette, pick guard [which started to lift so I carefully removed it and will be included], all end end and bridge pins, as well as the tuner buttons on the Waverley's.

This guitar is all Acoustic [no electronics].

My sales are very controlled by myself only as I am a private seller and not a store shop, so if the guitar is up for sale on Reverb then it is available for purchase; the guitar shipped to you will be exactly the one in the advertisement pictures. Once I list a guitar for sale on reverb it is not used or touched again unless there is a seller's reason to do so.

I am the original owner of this guitar for many years now - however it has little play time on it - my reason for selling is to thin the herd. It was purchased from Guitar Gallery, Tennessee. I'm a man-cave player , so this Square Deal has never been out of my home , and unless played , it's in the case , in my temp/humidity controlled environment.

It is in pure Mint condition no scratches, no dings, and may find only the faintest micro swirling - just 'cause that's the way I keep all my instruments.

I give this guitar two thumbs up for it's amazing clear and woodsy and balanced full bodied tone and all American USA build quality. I play only fingerstyle guitar and this one has a solid great feel and lively open tone to it.

I do own several Square Deal acoustic guitars , all of them beautiful in every way , and this one is the largest body. If you are into Sitka and Mahogany slope shoulder dreadnought acoustic sound then this guitar is for you.

Using digital calipers the nut width is 1.80"

String spacing at the saddle is 2.30" [outside to outside on the E strings]

Lower bout at the end = 4" &¾"

Upper body at the neck = 3" &⅞"

Lower bout 15" &⅜"

Upper bout 11.0"

I would describe the neck as a smooth feeling full C profile shape [not chunky] gloss finish ; the action is perfect and set up with a new set of Elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze strings [12_53] set up for ease of fingerstyle play across the fretboard. I play only a lighter fingerstyle.

As for the radius I give it a 12 inch average feel ; I don't  have the instrument  to measure this exactly. This guitar sounds clear and clean and looks absolutely amazing!

It also comes in it's original high grade Guardian hard shell case in overall mint condition, with a plush crushed green velvet lined interor.

The guitar will be in the exact condition I have advertised it and all the pics are taken the same day this adv. was posted.

My asking price is set more than reasonable, and sale priced which is already several points better than reasonably good , and is currently low as I'm willing to take it , so the b.o. option is not available.

Local Pick-up will require a $2,000 deposit fee for delivery paid in advance via an e-transfer prior to meeting ; this will help ensure a commitment to complete the purchase ; the full amount deposit fee will be deducted from the listed selling price in the final payment.

Note: If you intend to pick up this instrument Locally please notify me first _before payment is made via Reverb so I can remove the shipping charge ! I do Not want to have to refund the shipping charge _it does not work out well at my end in the final balance of payment !

Important Notice for Local Pick-up - you will absolutely have to Mark the 'Received Item' on the Reverb phone app. and show me as you process , before i can hand the case and guitar over to you - afterward you may review it as you wish - but please be reminded , once paid , my sales are advertised as 'final sale & no return'.

This is a private sale but sales taxes are collected by Reverb on behalf of the CDN government via new rules for on-line sales for CDN residents.

Local Pick-up/?  message me about paying off of Reverb with an e-transfer or cash at place and time of meeting  _to avoid the platform's obligatory sales taxes collection.  There will be no re-negotiating the advertised sales price at that time ; and yes , I still will have to pay to Reverb their sales commission listing fee.
