Beautiful condition Yamaha Allegro alto sax that plays and sounds fantastic.  This instrument was rented by an adult player for about 6 months, and was given a full go-through by our in-house repair shop to ensure it's in great playing condition, and will be given a final inspection prior to shipping.  Instrument shows some minor cosmetic wear, but is in excellent overall condition, no dings, dents, or large scratches.  Case shows minor cosmetic wear, includes Yamaha 4C mouthpiece.  With the included YAS-62 style neck, this thing has incredible tone, and will be a perfect instrument for student or intermediate player looking for a big step up in quality at an affordable price!

Vertically integrated from Yamaha professional saxophones, the YAS-580AL Allegro Alto Saxophone includes a 62 style neck. A slightly narrower bore design provides a faster response and greater control. The 62 style neck allows a comfortable flow of air so that every player can attain a solid tonal core.

The octave mechanism on the YAS-580AL gives players the flexibility to choose between the included 62 style neck and any of the Yamaha Custom Series Saxophone Necks (sold separately).

An improved mechanism from low B to C# ensures a proper seal for these notes which promotes a clear response throughout the low range of the instrument.
