Up for sale is my Breedlove Guitar Company Custom Shop Series SJ25 Custom with a solid flamed Port Orford Cedar top and highly figured/flamed Walnut back and sides. The aesthetic is almost unreal eye popping!

This guitar is Acoustic Electric [A/E]

Hand crafted in Bend Oregon, USA , Serial No. 12644. Signed by Jayson Bowerman , Master Luthier.

Electronics work fine and look like a Fishman Active pre-amp with dual volume and tone dials inside the soundhole.

My sales are very controlled by myself only as I am a private seller and not a store shop, so if the guitar is up for sale on Reverb then it is available for purchase; the guitar shipped to you will be exactly the one in the advertisement pictures. Once I list a guitar for sale on reverb it is not used or touched again unless there is a seller's reason to do so.

I am not the original owner of this guitar for many years now - however it has little play time on it - my reason for selling is to thin the herd.

I'm a man-cave player , so this Breedlove has never been out of my home , and unless played , it's in the case , in my temp/humidity controlled environment.

It is in Excellent condition [with one minor flaw in the top that looks like a bear claw swipe shown in pic #13] , otherwise no scratches, no dings, and may find only the faintest micro swirling - just 'cause that's the way I keep all my instruments.

So the bear claw like swipe [shown in pic #13 in the top near to the 6th string sound hole] , the guitar arrived to me this way from the shop i bought it from out of the USA , it was fully disclosed ; and they claim the original owner was in a bar at the time and attempted to keep the guitar safe whilst a brawl broke out and 'something' must have swiped the guitar in the ensuing tumult ; anyhow the surface finish is not broken just an impression really is all it is [gives this already special guitar a 'note of character' if anything]

I give this guitar two thumbs up for it's amazing clear and warm and balanced full bodied tone and all American USA build quality.  I play only fingerstyle guitar and this one has a solid great feel and lively open tone to it.

This guitar has amazing construction , wood selection and specs for the price , with some of the key features being...

-Solid highly flamed Walnut back and sides [high gloss] lots of dark and darker veregation

- Ebony fretboard w/DOTS inlay

Using digital calipers the nut width is 1.76"

String spacing at the saddle is 2.31

" outside to outside on the E strings.

Scale Length is 25.5"

Walnut body depth...

Lower bout at the end = 4" &3/8"

Upper body at the neck = 3" &5/8"

Lower bout 17.0"

Upper bout ~11 &3/8" inch /? [the cut away makes this an estimated measure]

I would describe the neck as a fast feeling low profile C shape satin finish ; the action is perfect and set up with what appears to be D'Addario coated phosphor bronze strings [12_54] set up for ease of fingerstyle play across the fretboard. One can readily tell from the strength of the size of this guitar that it can easily accommodate a 13_56 guage string set [but I do not use anything greater than 12_54 which i had requested when purchased as I play only a lighter fingerstyle]

As for the radius I give it a 12 inch average feel similar to any custom Breedlove fretboard ; I don't  have the instrument  to measure this exactly. This guitar sounds clear and clean and looks absolutely amazing!

It also comes with the original Breedlove hard shell case [some slight blemishes] with a black crinkle plush interior all in excellent condition.

The guitar will be in the exact condition I have advertised it and all the pics are taken the same day this adv. was posted.

My asking price is set more than reasonable, and sale priced which is already several points better than reasonably good , and is currently low as I'm willing to take it , so the b.o. option is not available.

This guitar is available for Local Pick-up in the Greater Toronto Area ; Meeting will need to be arranged at a pre-agreed area inside of a major mall within the GTA only.

Local Pick-up will require a $2,000 deposit fee paid in advance via an e-transfer prior to meeting ; this will help ensure a commitment to complete the purchase ; the full amount deposit fee will be deducted from the listed selling price in the final payment.

This is a private sale but sales taxes are collected by Reverb on behalf of the CDN government via new rules for on-line sales for CDN residents.

Local Pick-up/?  message me about paying off of Reverb with an e-transfer or cash at place and time of meeting  _to avoid the platform's obligatory sales taxes collection.  There will be no re-negotiating the advertised sales price at that time ; and yes , I still will have to pay to Reverb their sales commission listing fee.
