Made to recreate Les’s original intention for the 1952 Les Paul, with the trapeze tail piece, strung over rather than under. The guitar is a beautiful golden bullion, with the etched bust of Lester‘s image on the maple headstock. Two loud, sweet and punchy sounding P90’s. The only reason this Les Paul is being sold in very good and not excellent condition is due to the strange lacquer checking on the front side (please see photos). There is much documented on the nitro cellulose lacquer and metals used for this finish being brittle and subject to checking. Of course it doesn’t effect the playing of the guitar, which plays and sounds very uniquely beautiful and huge.
