This Martin J12-40M 12 string guitar has a beautiful sound, even with the old strings that are on it, but it needs binding work front, back, and along fretboard. I had it checked out by a repair person at Mass Street Music in Lawrence, KS and the only repair work they recommended was to repair the binding and lower the action just a smidge. Just for reference, they quoted $400 for the binding work. The bridge appears to be lifting just slightly, but repair wasn't suggested (see photo). It has a some superficial dings, scratches, and pick scuffing, but no visible cracks (little bit of fret wear visible in photo). The case is fully functional but has some residue from removed stickers I had put on years ago in my youth.
