This Aristocrat S40 Tenor plays well from top to bottom with Buescher’s legendary huge sound.
The body is in beautiful condition for its age with some slight scratches and a minor dent on the bottom left and another by the low key wire cage; there’s also a small ding on top of the neck.
A few new pads were installed as needed and the horn plays with a resonating big sound using the included Powertone mouthpiece (despite the teeth marks,)
The key action is fast and smooth and feels comfortable to touch.
The case has seen better days but still provides somegood protection.
All in all, a very well made sturdy horn with a huge sound, Perfect for all levels of ability.
