Up for sale is an interesting one: this is a 27" baritone telecaster partscaster tuned waaaay down and made in true DIY fashion. It was professionally set up in a local shop with LaBella 15-80 baritone strings (with a new nut, too) and tuned down to F# (but it could go down to F or up to G easily). It rips, it's got a unique range that's between a bass VI (E-E) and below a typical baritone (B-B), and there's really only one like it.

So here's the deal: it's a neat one-of-a-kind guitar but it is definitely not polished in terms of finish.

The biggest imperfection is the finish: the paint refinish is rough with a capital R - check the photos and you'll see runs, bumps, spots, dings, rough patches, and not a totally even coat pretty much everywhere. This is especially true near the bottom edge of the guitar and headstock edges, so folks who want a polished professional baritone that's smooth all over should look elsewhere. The body routing for the Babicz bridge was also a hack job and partially disguised by some black tape between the bridge and pickguard (but no one's gonna notice). Personally, I think it's charming.

But it sounds good: the neck EMG RT is smooth and more on the quiet side, the bridge EMG-81 is aggressive and more on the loud side. Alone they're real good and together they shine. The neck feels good and the action is right on the money in my opinion.

But if you want a unique, gnarly, super imperfect, and low-pitched ripper, this will scratch that itch.

The parts are quality:
- Fender Classic Series 60’s Telecaster body
- Baritone Telecaster neck
- Babicz bridge
- EMG RT in neck and 81/FT in bridge
- The vintage stickers are removable but I think they're great

Extras: this listing also includes the original Fender telecaster bridge plate with an EMG RT-B inside, extra mounting screws, and a black pickguard (note the little scrape on it).

Price: I discounted the price due to all those lovable finish imperfections. Read the listing carefully and please feel free to ask questions.
