Among one of the Holy Grails of Jazz Archtop guitars...
J.R. Zeidler was well known in the community of archtop guitar makers. His instruments, and the man himself, were highly respected by players and his peers.

The guitar has light play wear and is in wonderful condition for being 31 years old.

This guitar is consigned to John Mann's Guitar Vault by the original owner, who commissioned J.R. Zeidler to craft this guitar.

The Jazz model's hand-carved top and back are graduated and
tap-tuned to very close tolerances creating the big sound
characteristic of a true acoustic arch top guitar. For ease of
playability, the maple neck has a low profile design incorporating
additional carbon fiber reinforcement making it light weight for
comfort yet strong for stability. A spring fitted and tuned x-brace
produces rich, even tone quality. The Zeidler Jazz is light and
responsive with high clarity and lasting sustain for any playing
situation.
