B.C. Rich USA Custom Explorer One Off Natural 1986 w/ Fitted Hardshell Case

B.C. Rich USA Custom Explorer One Off in Natural finish made in 1986 with Fitted Hardshell Case. This guitar features black bound solid koa wings on a maple neck-thru body and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of cream DiMarzio Dp100 Super Distortion in the neck position and a DiMarzio X2N Power Plus in the bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 1-tone knob and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24 5/8” scale length neck has mother of pearl diamond inlays and 22 jumbo frets on a 12” radius with a slim C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover mini rotomatic tuning machines, a bone nut, a Leo Quan Fine Tuner Bad Ass bridge and knurled black dome knobs.

This guitar is incredibly rare! Only 20 or so Neckthru Explorers were made in 1980’s & not offered by B.C. Rich due to Gibson Explorer shape, these were only made for few specific endorsed artists.

This example is in very good condition with some signs of play. it has some light surface scratches and marks you can see under direct light and a few dings/ dents And some light belt rash. There is light finish delamination on some parts of the binding. The frets have just been freshly leveled and the bone nut was replaced. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes fitted hardshell case.
