The EVH Star Limited Edition in Primer Gray is a striking tribute to Eddie Van Halen's unmistakable style, combining aggressive aesthetics, premium components, and performance-driven design into an instrument built for serious players. Featuring the iconic Star body shape crafted from lightweight basswood, this limited-edition model is finished in a distinctive matte Primer Gray that delivers a raw, understated look with plenty of attitude. The one-piece, bolt-on quartersawn maple neck features a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish and EVH's Modified "C" backshape, providing a comfortable, fast-playing feel. An ebony fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius, 22 frets, and cream dot position markers offers a smooth playing surface that accommodates everything from comfortable chord work to effortless bends and high-speed lead playing.

Designed for uncompromising performance, the EVH Star is equipped with an EVH Wolfgang humbucking bridge pickup, delivering the powerful output, punch, and clarity associated with Eddie's legendary tone. The straightforward control layout features a 500K EVH/Bourns low-friction volume potentiometer with a treble bleed circuit, preserving high-end clarity as the volume is rolled back, along with an auxiliary kill switch for added performance versatility. A Floyd Rose R3 locking nut works in conjunction with the EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, brass tremolo block, and integrated EVH D-Tuna, providing exceptional tuning stability and instant access to drop-D tuning. Additional premium appointments include EVH-branded Gotoh tuning machines, black hardware, black knurled control knobs with white indicators, a Floyd Rose retainer bar, oversized strap buttons, and EVH nickel-plated steel strings (.009–.042). Complete with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo arm and gig bag, this EVH Star Limited Edition is a bold, highly distinctive instrument that captures the spirit of Eddie Van Halen's innovation while delivering the modern playability and performance today's players demand.
