This Fender Kingman Acoustic Bass is part of California Series range. With its bold design, with some iconic Fender touches, great playability, and a great sound whether acoustic or amped, it's a truly inspiring acoustic bass guitar! The bass comes complete with a deluxe gigbag.

The body of the Kingman bass is built from of a solid spruce top paired with laminated sapele for back and sides. This, in conjunction with its mid-size auditorium size, allow the bass to deliver a full, deep, yet articulate tone with good amounts of acoustic projection.

Married to the body is a slim C shaped Jazz Bass nec, with a highly playable short 30" scale. Topping the neck is a walnut fingerboard set with 20 frets and Pearloid block inlays.

Great as a straight acoustic bass, the Kingman also functions just as well when you need to get louder. Fitted with a Fishman Presys preamp system that allows detailed fine-tuning of the bassâs amplified sound when performing or recording; controls are - Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Notch, Brilliance, and Phase. An integrated Tuner also features.

Other appointments include open-gear vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, a GraphTech NuBone nut and saddle for focused fundamental tone
