Neumann U87 Stereo Pair Mid-70s
Neumann U87 stereo pair with consecutive ser no : 26076 and 26077. Mid-70´s.
Fully serviced and cleaned with original capsules. Both microphones are engraved with "Studio 4".
Service report :
Neumann U87 No 26077 - Cleaning. Troubleshooting and soldering of loose ground. Replacing tantalum capacitor (C7) with film capacitor. Replacing electrolytes (C10 and C12). Replacing tantalum with electrolyte (C8). Checking bias.
Neumann U87 No 26078 - Cleaning. Change of tantalum capacitor (C7) to film capacitor. Change of electrolytes (C10 and C12). Change of tantalum to electrolyte (C8). Check of bias which is suboptimally set from factory(!). Change of source resistor R11 for correct bias.
They come in their original black boxes.
