Abandoned in a pawn shop, I rescued this neglected sleeper and gave it a fresh setup. From 1997-2001 era, this is a China made transition model, eventually from India to Indonesia to cheapen the cost (and materials). Solid Alder body, poly finish, this is a impressively made in materials and finish. Northern maple, on Rosewood board has newly polished frets on its perfectly straight neck. Zero fretwear. Weighs in at a solid 7.4 lbs, Setup on fresh .009 D'Addarios, low and fast neck measures 1.0mm hi E/1.3mm low E at 12th fret. Neck is a thinner profile, and frankly I'm loving the feel (similar to my E7 bullet). SOME DINGS AND CHIPS ON BODY, please see pics ,look carefully. A Fender gig bag included and shipped in a well packed guitar box. Playing is a delight, stratty tone shines through as expected, stays in tune nicely. Has graphtec tees, and original bridge. Im putting a higher reserve on this since it's the best Squier strat I've ever played. No returns.
