This special edition of the Carnaby 500 Harmonic EQ offers a sharp vintage-inspired aesthetic that will look amazing in your 500 Series rack. Each stereo pair features sequential serial numbers and ships in a custom flight case.
Unlike conventional analog EQs that use phase to equalize audio signals, the Cranborne Audio Carnaby 500 employs harmonic saturation to boost and cut audio program material. This innovative, trademarked Cranborne Audio technology allows the all-analog Carnaby 500 to provide all the sound-shaping functionality of a traditional semi-parametric 3-band equalizer while enhancing vocals and instruments with euphonic harmonic saturation. A single-slot 500 Series module, the Carnaby 500 is equipped with Optosync, which allows two of them placed side-by-side in a 500 Series rack to function as a stereo equalizer, with a single set of controls controlling both units — ideal for tweaking stereo tracks and stems.
