German made - 1965 Hofner Viola, 15 1/2" back, with good hardshell case and new fiberglass bow & rosin.
Straight grained European spruce top with figured maple back and sides. Fingerboard and attachments are ebony.
Has an Infeld tailpiece with integrated fine tuners and a well fitted bridge labelled Karoly Loso.
Has one old professional repair to the top. Well done and not very visible in pics.
Tone is beautiful - very deep yet clear with wonderful projection.
