Here's a very unusual and rare National Resonator guitar. This is a STEEL bodied, not brass, Style 0 without the typical palm tree sandblasting. Its not nickel plated, but chrome plated, and its definitely original just look at the serial number (S for Style 0) which hasn't been touched since the day it was stamped. It has rusted some because it is steel but it looks cool. I just reset the neck, which is mahogany, not maple, and it sports the ebony painted bean wood fretboard and another serial number that should be for a walnut Triolian neck. However, I've seen so many of these things and set so many necks I can tell you this neck is original to the guitar. Nobody has been inside this thing but me for the last 97 years! Plays great now, sounds different that any Style 0 out there, much brighter and louder than a brass body. Tuners are changed and there's only a small sliver of the logo left so who knows what it was designated at birth! Comes with a new case.
