Dobro Model 30 1965-1969 - Gold Fleck

Here's a really sweet looking and sounding Dobro from the mid to late 60s. The Dobro Model 30s have a very slim neck for easy playing, a nice resonator sound that's full and pronounced and packs enough blues to go Taj Mahal if that's what you're after. This one had a complete set up from Jake Wildwood as you can see from his listing about a year ago. I owned this guitar but went to the expense of sending it to him to spiff it up to full-playing shape...which he did. He also installed a K&K pickup and I played it through a Fender Acoustasonic and it sounded fabulous. So it's a Dobro, it has a steel body and a big, biscuit-bridge single cone and did I mention that it has gold fleck paint? Wow! One body dent that I have pictured on the edge of the left lower bout. The person I bought it from said it took a hard fall so the paint and the steel is chipped away in that spot. For a right-handed player, no one in the audience will ever know.
